Starting from your city

Packages that begin where you do

Train, flight or drive: we plan the pickup at the right station or airport and the drop at the end.

Chennai Egmore station forecourt at dusk, the departure point for overnight trains south700 km

From Chennai

Take the overnight Kanyakumari Express down from Egmore and fly home from Trivandrum. You sleep through the 700 km outbound and lose no daylight, and the 1 h 20 m flight back has you home by lunchtime on the last day. It also lets us fit Padmanabhapuram Palace and the Kovalam coast into the drive to the airport instead of doubling back for them.

12 h 30 m Fly 1 h 20 m to Trivandrum, plus a 2 h 30 m road transfer
Bengaluru city skyline at dusk with evening traffic heading out on the southern highway700 km

From Bangalore

Drive down through the hills and fly back from Trivandrum. Going out via Kodaikanal or Munnar turns the 700 km into two good days instead of one bad one, and the coastal return through Padmanabhapuram and Kovalam covers ground you would otherwise never see. If time is short, fly both ways and keep the car for the three days at the tip.

12 h 30 m Fly 1 h 15 m to Trivandrum, plus a 2 h 30 m road transfer
Hyderabad skyline seen from the Hussain Sagar side in the early morning1,200 km

From Hyderabad

Fly Hyderabad to Trivandrum on the morning departure, take our fixed-fare transfer down the coast and spend three nights at the tip. If you want Madurai and Rameswaram as well, fly into Madurai instead, drive the circuit south and fly home from Trivandrum. Do not take the train unless the fare difference is the deciding factor for a large family.

22–24 h over two days Fly 1 h 45 m to Trivandrum, plus a 2 h 30 m road transfer
Coimbatore skyline with the Western Ghats behind it on a clear winter morning400 km

From Coimbatore

Drive down through Munnar or Kodaikanal and come back on the highway. From Coimbatore the hills are three to four hours away, the tip a further six to seven, and the loop makes a three-night trip that beats any straight there-and-back. If you only have two nights, take the overnight train down and let us drive you home.

7 h 30 m Fly No useful flight; drive or take the train
The painted gopurams of Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai, in late afternoon light240 km

From Madurai

Do the loop rather than the straight run. Madurai to Rameswaram in the morning, a night there, then the coast road south through Tiruchendur to Kanyakumari, two nights at the tip, and home via Tirunelveli on the highway or out through Trivandrum airport. If you only want Kanyakumari, leave Madurai at eight and our car has you at the ferry by one.

4 h 30 m Fly Not applicable; Madurai is the nearest airport for this side
Trichy Rockfort rising above the town, seen from the Cauvery side at sunrise380 km

From Trichy

Take the overnight train down from Trichy Junction, arrive at Nagercoil before dawn and go straight to the sunrise point with our driver. Spend two nights at the tip, then let us drive you home up the highway with stops at Suchindram, Tirunelveli and the Meenakshi temple at Madurai on the way. It makes the return journey part of the trip rather than the end of it.

6 h 30 m Fly Not useful; drive or take the train
Salem town from the Yercaud ghat road with the Shevaroy hills behind480 km

From Salem

Drive down via Kodaikanal and come home on the highway. Salem to Kodaikanal is three and a half hours, Kodaikanal to Kanyakumari seven, and the loop turns one eight-hour day into two pleasant ones with a cool night in between. If you want the straight run, leave Salem at five and stop for lunch at Madurai.

8 h Fly Not useful; drive or take the train
Mumbai skyline and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link at dusk with evening traffic building1,600 km

From Mumbai

Fly the morning departure to Trivandrum and let the two-and-a-half-hour transfer do the rest. It buys back close to two full days against the train, and every one of those days goes straight into Padmanabhapuram Palace, the western falls or an extra night on the Kerala coast instead of a train berth.

28–30 h over two or three days Fly 1 h 55 m to Trivandrum, plus a 2 h 30 m road transfer
India Gate at dusk with Rajpath traffic building ahead of an evening flight departure2,800 km

From Delhi

Fly to Trivandrum through Bengaluru or Hyderabad, whichever gives the shorter layover on your travel date, and treat the two-night train as a deliberate choice rather than a default. Five nights on the ground makes the most of a genuinely long journey and lets the trip absorb the Kerala coast or the Madurai and Rameswaram temples without feeling rushed.

46–50 h over three or four days Fly 4–6 h total with one change, plus a 2 h 30 m road transfer
Three fields, no account

Questions about our packages

A one-day Kanyakumari sightseeing package starts at ₹2,800 for a sedan carrying four people, and a 2 days 1 night package from ₹6,500. Multi-state circuits such as Madurai–Rameswaram–Kanyakumari start around ₹14,500 for three days. Every price on this page is for the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and parking, so a family of four pays the same as a couple.
No, and deliberately so. We book hotels for you at counter price with no mark-up, but keep them out of the headline figure so you can choose your own budget, from ₹1,200 lodges near the bus stand to ₹8,000 sea-facing rooms. Tell us your band and we send three options with photos.
The 2 days 1 night package in an Innova Crysta. Two days spread the walking out, the Crysta has the easiest step-in height, and we sequence the ferry for the shortest queue. Add Suchindram and Padmanabhapuram on day two and skip the trek spots entirely.
Yes, every one of them. The packages on this page are starting points that we know work. Add a night, swap Thirparappu for Muttom, start from Nagercoil station instead of Kanyakumari, or stretch the temple circuit to five days. The price changes only by the extra kilometres and days.
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most of the year. For the last week of December, the first week of January and the April–May school holidays, book four to six weeks ahead because the Innovas and Tempos are the first to go. A one-day sedan trip can often be arranged the day before.
