Fares are fixed one-way rates including driver, fuel, tolls, parking and permits. Waiting is free for 60 minutes at airports and 30 minutes elsewhere. Full terms.
Trivandrum is the airport almost every visitor to Kanyakumari actually uses. It is 95 km up the coast, the drive takes two and a half hours in normal traffic, and it crosses the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border at Kaliyakkavilai, which is why the fare includes an inter-state permit that some operators quietly add at the end.
Why book this route with us
We meet international arrivals with a name board inside the terminal, not a phone call from the car park. For a 5 am departure we leave Kanyakumari at 1:30 am and we will call you at 1:15 to make sure you are awake.
On the way: stops and detours
Kaliyakkavilai border
The Tamil Nadu–Kerala checkpost, about 45 minutes in. Permit paperwork is already done; we do not stop.
Kovalam (optional)
A 20-minute detour if your flight is late in the day. Beach, lighthouse and a decent lunch.
Poovar estuary (optional)
Where the river meets the sea, 25 km short of the airport. Worth it if you have three spare hours.
Timing advice
Allow 3 hours for an international departure and 2 h 15 m for domestic. Between 8 and 10 in the morning the Trivandrum city stretch adds 30 minutes.
