Three airports serve Kanyakumari and they suit different travellers. Trivandrum is closest and has the international flights. Tuticorin is the quiet domestic option and often cheaper from Chennai. Madurai is furthest but has the best connections to the north and pairs naturally with a temple circuit on the way down.

Domestic only, usually the cheapest fares from Chennai and Bengaluru. Sedan ₹3,900.
Madurai (IXM) — 245 km, 4 h 30 m
Best northern connections. Sedan ₹5,500, and you can add Madurai sightseeing for ₹1,200.
Timing advice
Book the pickup for three hours before an international departure and two and a quarter before a domestic one.
