Fares are fixed one-way rates including driver, fuel, tolls, parking and permits. Waiting is free for 60 minutes at airports and 30 minutes elsewhere. Full terms.
Most trains to this corner of India stop at Nagercoil Junction rather than Kanyakumari, so this twenty-kilometre hop is the first thing many visitors need. It is a thirty-five minute drive on a good road, and it is the one route we run at every hour of the night.
Why book this route with us
We are based here, so a Nagercoil pickup is not a favour we do reluctantly for a small fare. Sunrise runs leaving at 4:30 am are booked every week from October to March.
On the way: stops and detours
Nagaraja Temple, Nagercoil
Ten minutes from the station and genuinely worth thirty minutes if your train arrives early.
Suchindram
The Thanumalayan Temple sits almost exactly on the route. Add it for ₹200 rather than a separate trip.
Vattakottai Fort
A five-minute detour near the end, best in the late afternoon light.
Timing advice
Thirty-five minutes off-peak. Allow fifty during the Nagercoil morning school run, 8:15 to 9:15.
